The works of Anatoly Kashigin belong to the genre of naive art. Anatoly Kashigin is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. In the city of Novotroitsk, where the artist lived his entire adult life, there is a museum-gallery of Anatoly Kashigin.
Now, if you take Kandinsky's "Improvisation number 20 (Two horses)"
and “Red Vineyards in Arles” by Vincent Van Gogh - somewhere between them the artist Anatoly Kashigin “floated” all his creative life. Yes, he does not forget Gauguin either.
Anatoly Kashigin is naive, like his art. He loaded the paintings on himself and went with them to the Tretyakov Gallery - he offered not even to take - to buy! I donated my greatcoat to the city museum - remember, you have the greatcoat of the artist Anatoly Kashigin! He writes remakes from the works of Van Gogh - and I am sure that these are already his works, because he did not write a copy - Anatoly Kashigin wrote his own!
Anatoly Kashigin has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1995, graduated with honors from the Extramural People's University named after V.I. Krupskaya. His graduation work "Tractor" was noticed at the exhibition in 1968 by the Minister of Culture Yekaterina Furtseva. Kashigin's paintings are kept in the Museum of Naive Art in Moscow \ Novogireevo \, in the Museum of Naive Art \ Yekaterinburg \, in the State United Vladimir-Suzdal Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve, in the Orenburg Regional Museum of Fine Arts, in private collections and galleries in Russia, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Great Britain, Croatia and Sweden.
